Twin Doctors, Shalondria Simpson, PharmD, a skilled pharmacist and LaShondria Simpson-Camp, a certified breast cancer oncologist combined their medical knowledge and expertise and in 2016 founded Tru Essence Medical Spa. Their aim was to create a space where individuals could experience the rejuvenating benefits of both medical and spa services. The spa has become a sanctuary for clients seeking a holistic approach to beauty, wellness, and self-care.

Dr. Shalondria Simpson and Dr. LaShondria Simpson-Camp have been voted as Super Lady for 2022. Super Lady is a community of leaders, thinkers, doers and allies committed to creating change, leading spaces and transforming community through, breaking barriers, closing gaps while building bridges, benefitting SUPERGirls SHINE Foundation (SGSF). Moreover, this diverse group of leaders in a variety of industries and decision-making positions supports the mission of SGSF through sponsorships, mentorships and internships for increasing exposure, access and equitable opportunities for more underserved women & girls in STEM college degrees and workforce.
